Esteemed delegates, chairs, and directors, 

It is with great pleasure and pride that I welcome you to the fourth edition of ISHMUN, the International School of Ho Chi Minh City’s conference. This is my second year serving as Secretary-General, and along with my secretariat, we are honored to serve you and to be tasked with the inception of an undoubtedly momentous event happening on January 24- 25, 2026.

ISHMUN welcomes all! The advisors, chairs, and delegates, experienced or brand new to Model UN, will experience an environment that fosters growth, learning, and friendship. Our goal is more than to teach Model UN but to teach delegates how to apply the skills they learn in committee. This conference is one that we will commit to making unforgettable, and one that will drive forward our vision for our program and Model United Nations in Saigon. 

I want to give my thanks to each and every one of you. The delegates, chairs, and advisors make ISHMUN possible. Without your attendance, our conference would purely just be a bunch of teenagers running around in suits. This conference is the fruition of countless hours of work from a tirelessly dedicated team and a lot of sweet treats to keep the team motivated. Moreover, it is the manifestation of an invested program and community impelled by ambitious aspiration. 

I look forward to welcoming you all in person in January. In addition, we will keep you all updated on any changes to the conference if such changes are warranted.
